6.5/10 stinky bananas

Hugh Jackman and Ian McKellen carry this movie. Perfect castings.

Magneto (Ian McKellen) is a great villain. He has depth as a character and his villainous motivations are justifiable. Most importantly, his ability to control metal is badass.

Outside of Wolverine and Magneto, this movie doesn't have much else going for it. The X-Men suit design is horrific. They are incredibly lame; no colour, no nothing. Anna Paquin is fucking terrible in this. She is unbearable. Her face makes me angry. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why they casted her. There are inanimate objects with more personality than her.

Anna Paquin's presence makes me never want to re-watch this movie for the rest of my days.
