This is the last of the good Rocky. Steep drop off after this.
Rocky 4 is getting the point form treatment. And here we go...
Here's what I like:
Creed's walkout against Drago is electric.
Creed's cornerman is still the best. He's foaming at the mouth every time he's on screen.
Drago killing Creed is a great way to set the table for USA vs USSR.
Two great montages in this movie. We get a driving flashback montage and a Russian winter montage. Gotta love it.
The steroids look awesome on these guys. Rock is even bigger in this than he was in the last movie.
Rocky vs Drago is simply incredible. Just fantastic theater.
Here's what I don't like:
What the fuck is up with this robot? Bizarre stuff.
Can Adrian just die already? I am so sick of her bullshit. All she does is whine. "You can't win!" Shut the fuck up, bitch. Leave Rocky alone.
Manslaughter is certainly on the table for Drago after that Creed fight. I say that for two reasons:
Number 1: He's on steroids. That's not allowed.
Number 2: He hits Creed after the bell, pushes the ref off, and punches Creed again. You can't do that. That's not allowed.
Rock somehow got worse as an actor. Easily his worst performance out of the first 4 movies.
Anyway, Rocky 4 is a damn good movie. Go watch it, or don't, see if I care. See ya.
