8.4/10 stinky bananas
Another solid entry into the MCU library.
The fall of the MCU has been grossly overstated. After Endgame, people's expectations for MCU movies have been ludicrous. Throughout the duration of the MCU, these movies have largely followed the same formula. Granted, some are better than others, but the majority of them are pretty damn solid.
I will say MCU movies tend to have villain problems. The villains are either awesome or they stink. No in between. Thunderbolts* had no such problem. It was cool to see this movie tackle trauma and depression instead of having just another random asshole blow up New York or whatever the fuck villains do nowadays.
Anyway, *Larry David voice* Thunderbolts* is pretty pretty pretty good. *Joey Tribbiani voice* Action good. Characters good. Story gooooooood.
... My brain is demented.
Anyway, Wyatt Russell stole the show. I think he's hilarious. I'm honestly excited to see his dumbass interacting with the other Avengers in the next movie. He's going to have two lines of dialogue, but those two lines will get a laugh out of me, I guarantee it.
The way The Void makes people disappear is fucking terrifying. Very cool, I would like to see that again please and thank you.
Go watch it. End of review. Bye.
