7.8/10 stinky bananas

Acting masterclass, but no substance to the story.

Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Dano are excellent in this movie, DDL especially. His mustache is immaculate and his accent fucking rocks.

DDL and Dano's performances are greater than the movie itself. The story, on its own, is pretty boring. They did a good job of building suspense throughout the movie, but there was no real payoff in the end. I left the movie feeling unsatisfied.

DDL is reason enough to watch this movie once, but the rewatchability of There Will Be Blood is near zero.
