Tim Burton. He's one of the best at making weird ass movies good.

The music is excellent. The "What's This" song is a bona fide hit; it's a Christmas music playlist mainstay for me.

The claymation is very cool. There is a special place in movie heaven for the Christmas/claymation combo.

The Nightmare Before Christmas has to be the number 1 Christmas movie to watch in the month of November. There is no sense in watching any of the Christmas classics before December, that's just wasted Christmas spirit. But, if you're feeling a little Christmas-y before the holiday season starts and you need your fix, throw on The Nightmare Before Christmas. Boom. Perfect take. 10/10.
