Rounders

Excellent poker movie. I can't say I've seen every poker movie, but Rounders has to be in the upper echelon. Does Casino Royale count as a poker movie? Who knows.

Damon, Norton, and Malkovich are all awesome in this. Malkovich's accent is laugh out loud funny. Norton does a great job at playing the worst friend in movie history. A truly terrible terrible friend. Damon's charisma is off the charts and he has a perfect voice for narration. Not quite Morgan Freeman Shawshank Redemption level narration, but he's got the juice.

The poker scenes are fantastic. Extremely intense. I especially love the scene where Damon beats the World Series of Poker champ at a random table in Atlantic City and then goes and loses everything to the KGB guy. Chef's kiss.

The only dumpy part of this movie is the love interest. She is a stinky actress. Irrelevant character.

64% on rotten tomatoes??? What a joke of a website. That's why everybody is turning to stinkybananas.com for all their movie reviews.

Must watch for gamblers.
