Ridiculous movie.

Leo and Claire Danes put in good performances and the romantic story between them is well done. Everything else that happens is chaotic, weird, and terrible.

Some people like Baz Luhrmann's style, but it is so over-the-top in Romeo + Juliet. I hate it. The worst part is the Shakespearean dialogue in a modern day setting. It just doesn't work. I don't need to hear Jamie Kennedy's goofy ass talk like a 16th century Englishman.

Unless you're a Baz Luhrmann fanatic, don't waste your time with Romeo + Juliet. Bye.
