It's hilarious that this movie even exists. What a funny concept.


Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is a mixed bag. There is more bad than good, but the good stuff is quite enjoyable. There are a couple of good montages in there. The vampire hunting is a good time. The train scene is fun as shit. For what it's worth, this movie is not a complete waste of time.


The bad parts are difficult to overlook. The CGI is horrific, but that's not this movie's biggest sin. There is a segment of the runtime in which Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter takes itself too seriously. Can you believe that? That is a cardinal sin for a movie of this stature. This is a movie about American President Abraham Lincoln killing vampires. Don't pretend it's anything more than that, not even for one second.
