Easily one of the strangest movies I've ever seen.

Tim Robinson is hilarious. He's one of the funniest people on the planet. There is lots of "I Think You Should Leave" type stuff, and it's just as funny on the big screen as it is on Netflix. Once this movie goes to streaming, it will become a big hit. People are going to be quoting snippets from the movie nonstop.

Everything outside of the Tim Robinson hilarity is pretty dumb. A24 (studio) has a habit of poisoning good movies with artsy fartsy crap. I think the movie would've been 1000 times funnier if they handed Tim Robinson the reigns to the script and let him write the whole thing. The subplots surrounding the wife and Paul Rudd's character are uncomfortable and unnecessary. Cut that crap out, step to the side, and let Tim shine. Give me more of Tim having a bad frog trip to Subway and less of Paul Rudd struggling at the daytime news station. Too much A24 nonsense!

Anyway, if you're a Tim Robinson fan then you absolutely have to watch this movie. If you're indifferent or don't like Tim Robinson then definitely don't watch this movie, because you will be plucking your eyes out 20 minutes in.
