Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

The finale of the third Star Wars trilogy is pretty good. It could have been better, but I'm not a big enough Star Wars fan to really care. There are some undeniably awesome parts of this movie that even the more casual Star Wars fans (like myself) would love. Bringing back big bad Palpatine was fun as hell. Rey getting crazy strong with the force and using force lightning was very cool too.

My biggest takeaway from this movie is that the plot is a near carbon copy of Avengers: Endgame. They may as well have taken the Avengers screenplay, erased the character names, and replaced them with Star Wars guys. Maybe sprinkle in a little Star Wars lingo to make it look like it wasn't plagiarized, classic college trick. If you watch the last 30 minutes of this movie and don't immediately think of Avengers 4 then you're a dummy.
