9.6/10 stinky bananas

A great beginning to the greatest trilogy of all time. I enjoy the fellowship more and more after every watch.

We get introduced to so many characters that are now iconic. Gandalf. Legolas. Aragorn. Gimli. Samwise. Elrond. And the list goes on.

Even with all the character development, you still get some awesome scenes. The battle in the mine. The fire demon. The fellowship meeting. And of course Boromir‘s death scene.

If you are into that artsy fartsy crap, this movie has something for you too. The fellowship, as with all the LOTR, is shot spectacularly with beautiful sets. There is very little to complain about, if any at all.

But if I was being picky, Frodo and his stupid face pisses me off.

If you haven’t seen LOTR, then you are missing out on one of the great pleasures of life.
