This movie fucking rules. Easily the best animated superhero content I've ever seen. Great movie from start to finish.
The animation style is excellent. Very cool and unique.
A well-written, very funny movie with a great voice cast to boot. Jake Johnson being this fat, down on his luck Spider-Man is a fantastic casting (especially if you're familiar with his work on New Girl).
The soundtrack is awesome. Banger after banger. The main song is an immediate "add to the playlist" type of song.
Highlight reel time:
The origin story bit is great.
The homeless corpse scene (Miles dragging Jake Johnson around) is great.
Alchemax scene is peak comedy (Jake Johnson at his best).
Prowler's death scene is heartbreaking.
The Leap of Faith scene is excellent. Goosebump-inducing scene.
The grand finale hits all the right notes and ties up the story nicely.
