Spider-Man: Homecoming

Spider-Man: Homecoming is the BEST Spider-Man movie. Numero Uno. This is not up for debate. My opinion is fact.

Fucking fantastic movie. I absolutely love it.

Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man BY A FUCKING LONG SHOT. He is a great actor and he embodies the character perfectly. Great Spider-Man suit too.

Michael Keaton fucking killed it. What a performance. He somehow made Vulture cool. He gives Willem Dafoe a run for his money as the number one Spider-Man villain.

Homecoming is a well-written movie. Great story, great action, with some solid comedy mixed in. What else can you ask for? Maybe a solid soundtrack. Oh wait, they had that too. Excellent soundtrack. It’s a perfect combination. Kudos to Jon Watts and Kevin Fiege for playing major roles in making all this possible.

Time for my favourite scenes…

The Avengers tie-in to kickoff the movie is very cool. This scene serves as a great setup and you get old-man Keaton knocking some nerd on his ass. Love it to see it. Next.

Peter documenting his trip to Germany (Captain America: Civil War) is a cool and funny scene. Love it. Bam. Next.

The Donald Glover weapons selling scene + Ferris Bueller homage scene + Vulture snatching Spidey + Iron Man saving him (remotely). What a run that is. Excellent 10-15 minutes of filmmaking. Bang. Next.

Vulture kills Shocker by accident. Hilarious. Love it. Next.

Washington Monument scene. Intense. Almost lost my guy Ned. Close call. Love it. Next.

Ferry scene is fucking awesome. Iron Man saves the day and then gives Peter a serious talking to. Very emotional scene between two beloved characters. LOVE IT. Boom. Next.

Vulture is Spider-Man’s girlfriend’s dad scene. Holy Moly, I did not see that coming. The entire tone of the movie changes on a dime, and it gets very serious. The talk in the car when Vulture figures out Peter is Spider-Man is extremely intense and nerve-racking. Absolutely fucking love it. Next.

The final action sequence + the Avengers update scene. Excellent way to cap off an excellent movie. Best solo Spider-Man movie since the original.

Absolute banger of a movie. If you haven’t seen it, watch it right fucking now. That’s an order.
