8.4/10 stinky bananas

A great crime/thriller film. Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal lead a great cast in this movie about the kidnapping of two children. The Jack Man does a great job portraying a father that will stop at nothing to get his daughter back. Gyllenhaal turns in another good performance as the lead investigator tasked with finding the culprits of this crime. Not to forget, Paul Dano plays a misunderstood creep as perfectly as one could expect.

Never a dull moment in this one. The movie does well to show what it might be like to be in The Jack Man's character's shoes; just a distraught and desperate man who slowly slips into madness. Within the shell of this thriller movie, is a classic whodunnit type plot as the audience is tasked to figure out who might be responsible for the disappearance of these children.

Definitely worth a watch if you got a little bit of time.
