Parasite

I will preface this movie review by saying that I had high expectations for this movie prior to seeing it. Parasite had just won 'Best Picture' at the Oscars, and everybody and their grandma were saying that it was the best movie of the 2010s. Also, it might be worth mentioning that I despise movies with more than a handful of subtitles. Reading makes me sleepy and I don't like being sleepy during movies.

With that being said, this movie was mediocre at best. I really don't get why people were losing their shit over it. In a movie filled with lots of them, the twists didn't quite hit hard enough for my liking. It ain't all bad though... the best part about this movie was when the rich dad finger blasted his wife nearly 20 feet away from his kid's backyard camping site. Filmmaking at its finest.

Watch this movie if you like being disappointed.
