Marriage Story

7.5/10 stinky bananas

Pretty good film. The artsy fartsy movie folk probably jerk it to this movie. Although it is artsy fartsy, it is not artsy fartsy crap.

It has a very engaging story. You find yourself picking a side in the titular marriage and rooting for Adam Driver or Scarlett Johansson. Both of which turn in great acting performances. Adam Driver is a rising star (if not a star already) and will be a household name sooner rather than later.

I don’t particularly get the Oscar buzz it got but that is typically my stance on most movies that get nominated.

Could be worth the watch. Could not be worth it. Who knows.
