Great movie. Classic.

This movie is a quote machine. Three or four of the most repeated movie quotes of all time are from this movie. That alone is a testament to the quality and popularity of Jerry Maguire.

NOBODY plays an unhinged person better than Tom Cruise. Probably because he is an unhinged person in real life, but hey, that's showbiz baby.

There are a ton of other great performances as well. Cuba Gooding Jr. is fantastic, so fantastic that he won an Oscar for the role. Well deserved! Bonnie Hunt, Regina King, and the guy that plays Bob Sugar are all excellent in secondary roles. The best of all is that kid. He has to be the cutest kid in movie history. He steals the show in every scene.

Nearly every element of the movie is executed extremely well. The sports/sports agent element is great. The romantic subplot is pretty good. Lastly, the comedy is on point, so many funny scenes.

I hate Renee Zellweger's face. She just has one of those faces. I think she's a fine actress, but she has a bad face. Not my cup of tea, as they say.

In a movie filled with great scenes, one stands high above the rest. That scene is the Jerry Maguire - Ron Tidwell phone call. Truly iconic and laugh out loud funny scene. Tom Cruise screaming "Show me the money!" and "I love Black people!" over and over will be seared in my brain for all of eternity. Happily, I might add.

If you haven't seen Jerry Maguire, get your shit together.
