Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

This movie is not nearly as bad as people like to say it is. There are a few things I really like but a couple of things I hate.

Lets start with what I hate. 1. They wasted Cate Blanchett. She is a great actress and she is awesome at being a villain (Thor: Ragnarok), but they blew it big time in this one. Her character just stinks, plain and simple. 2. Aliens. Why did they decide to go with aliens? Made zero sense. What a fucking absurd direction to take the Indiana Jones franchise. I can’t wait for the fifth movie to completely retcon this storyline. These were such idiotic mistakes that it makes me visibly angry when I think about it.

Despite the aforementioned movie decisions, I still like this movie. Side note - credit to me for using such a big word, I even googled it to make sure I used it right. I like Shia LaBeouf alot in this. I don’t even know why. I just do. And to no surprise, living legend Harrison Ford still got it. Shia LaBeouf getting hit in the nuts repeatedly was great. Nut shots always play. There is also a notable kill. During a good car chase scene a guy gets sucked into an ant hill. Love to see it.

Pretty enjoyable movie, but you can skip it if need be. It’s no sweat off my back, a.k.a I don’t care.
