Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

I have thoughts. Lots of them.

Overall, it's a pretty good movie, but they left a lot of meat on the bone.

Let's start with the good stuff. Namor is great. I like the actor. I like the origin story. I like the underwater city. I like the blue people. I like the supersonic hypnosis (kind of scary). I LOVE the whales. I like just about everything about this guy. Two thumbs up Marvel!

Michael B. Jordan's cameo is excellent. Riveting and emotional scene in the Ancestral Realm. I don't care how you do it Marvel, but bring back Killmonger because he is awesome.

Okay. Are we in the trust tree here? May I speak freely? Chadwick's tribute could've been done better. I'm man enough to admit that I cry when I watch movies sometimes. I cry a lot. But, I did not cry at any point during this movie. Not one tear. And Chadwick's death is real life. That means I should've been bawling my friggin eyes out. To no fault of its own, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is missing a huge piece of what made the original so great: Chadwick Boseman. RIP.

The Martin Freeman storyline should've been left on the cutting room floor. Complete waste of time.

The Ironheart suit and the Okoye predator suit look like poop. Truly ugly suit designs.

Lastly, and most importantly, SHURI FUCKING STINKS! WHY THE FUCK IS SHE BLACK PANTHER?!?!?! BOOOOOOOO!!! She is easily the shittiest part of the movie. I don't like her at all. Bad actress. Lupita or Mbaku should have been chosen to be the new Black Panther. They are both high-caliber actors with character arcs that could easily be transitioned into being Black Panther. Terrible decision by the Marvel higher-ups in my opinion.

Black Panther 2 is still worth a watch, it just didn't live up to the hype. Fucking Shuri. She sucks.
